The Sun Shines on Sydney Expo

The Rotary Club of Darling Harbour‘s second ShelterBox Expo was held yesterday in Martin Place, bathed in beautiful Sydney sunshine. Volunteers from the club were on the scene a 6.00am to set up tents, box displays and information points, with 5 tents in the main display and one set up outside the Channel 7 studios

ShelterBox was given couple of plugs during the day, with some nice exposure at the end of the “Sunrise” breakfast programme. Martin Place’s busy thoroughfare provided plenty of interested people new to ShelterBox and the hardworking Rotary volunteers collected nearly $5,000 in donations (almost enough for 5 boxes). A big thank you to all those involved.
