‘Run For Shelter’ Team Excels At Doll’s Point Marathon Event

A group of ShelterBox supporters recently hit the road to raise funds for disaster relief. The “Run for Shelter” team excelled in the Dolls Point Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10km event held on 12/7/2015

ShelterBox Australia Ambassador and member of the Rotary Club of West Wollongong, Tim Koppel, quietly trained hard for the event. Afterwards Tim said,

‘It was a relatively small event but nevertheless the team took out two trophies in the Male 60-69 year old marathon (1st), and Woman < 50 categories (6th)!’

Tim very modestly forgot to point out that it was he that took out first in 60-69 Marathon! Well done Tim!

The 'Run For Shelter' team ran a total of 167.6kms for ShelterBox ........ not counting the training!
